Text Size: AaAaAaAaAa

LAKE FOREST – Bears quarterback Jay Cutler (concussion) hopes he'll be back on the field Sunday at Soldier Field against the Minnesota Vikings.

But when asked if he would play versus the Vikings, Cutler said, "I don't know. We'll see." He added that he hopes to practice tomorrow. Bears head coach Lovie Smith said Cutler has been cleared to practice on a limited basis, however he has not yet been cleared to play Sunday.

Cutler said he is not experiencing any concussion symptoms right now, though he admitted even if he was he wouldn't tell the media. Cutler acknowledged there are potential long-term risks when it comes to concussions, but he vowed to not change the way he plays the game.

Cutler said he is not in favor of a mandatory one-week off after suffering a concussion.

"Every player is different," Cutler said. " ... When you get hurt, it's an isolating feeling."
