MALTA – The Malta Library Land and Building Committee will pay tribute to local World War II veterans from 4 to 6 p.m. Dec. 1.

The tribute will include a short program at 5 p.m., an auction and refreshments at the Malta Township Public Library, 203 E. Adams St., a news release said. Veterans expected to attend are Yngve Johnson, Don Mattson, Bernard Parsley, Ivan Prall, Dorothy Stoddard and Robert Swanson.
