Farm economics summit coming to Sycamore
SYCAMORE – A farm economics summit featuring speakers from the University of Illinois will come to Sycamore’s Center for Agriculture on Dec. 11.
The Illinois Farm Economics Summit’s theme is “The Profitability of Illinois Agriculture: Managing in a Turbulent World,” according to a news release. The summit is designed for farm operators, farm owners, agriculture lenders and agribusiness professionals.
“Speakers from the University of Illinois farmdoc team will explore the farm profitability outlook and management challenges from several perspectives, including the direction of prices, government reports and data, estate planning, forecasting returns, crop insurance choices and changes to farm programs,” the news release states.
