Rebooting with Tosch

HINCKLEY – Last season, Hinckley-Big Rock forward Abbie Tosch was stuck in the shadow of Kaitlin Phillips and Katie Hollis.

In 2011-12, Phillips was the Royals’ go-to scorer, earning Daily Chronicle Player of the Year honors while averaging 17.5 points per game. Katie Hollis was the Royals’ second offensive threat, and the player H-BR really tried to get the ball to down in the post.

This season, H-BR, a program coming off six consecutive regional championships, is in a transition year, and Tosch is facing a change herself.
