Stoddard-Crowley

Michelle Stoddard and Cory Crowley, both of Glen Ellyn, were married at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Sycamore United Methodist Church, Sycamore.

The daughter of Jim and Marcia Stoddard of Sycamore, the bride is a 2005 graduate of Sycamore High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign. She is employed as a manager of Global Development at PCMA in Chicago.

The son of Dana and Shelly Crowley of Sycamore, the groom is a 2004 graduate of Sycamore High School and a 2008 graduate of Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. He is employed as a mechanical engineer at Fermi National Accelerator Lab in Batavia.

Elizabeth Bohlen of Springfield was Maid of Honor.

Bridesmaids were Holly Stoddard of Sugar Grove, Casey Parkes of Newcastle, Australia, Kelly Tate of Sycamore, Suzie Brindise of Chicago, Laura Yudys of Wheaton, Sarah Losh of Chicago and Kara Griffith of Sycamore.

Lindsey Stoddard and Arden Stoddard of Sugar Grove, nieces of the bride, were the flower girls.

Christopher Crowley of Rockford was Best Man.

Groomsmen were Bradley Stoddard of Sugar Grove, Steven Stoddard of Boston, Mass., Wesley George of Sycamore, Patrick Costello of Rockford, Michael Schultz of DeKalb, Binh Le of Rockford and Marcus Lewis of Sycamore.

Timothy Divine of Rockford and Jonathan Kuhn of Sycamore served as ushers.

Owen Stoddard of Sugar Grove, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The wedding reception was held at Altgeld Hall in DeKalb followed by a wedding trip to Jamaica.

The couple resides in Glen Ellyn.

65th anniversary

Barbara and Paul Gampfer of Sycamore celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on Nov. 10.

Barbara Kerivin and Paul Gampfer were married Nov. 14, 1947, at The Foursquare Church in DeKalb. He was employed by Barber Greene Co., and retired in 1990. She was employed by Turner Brass Works, and retired in 1992. The couple enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

They have two sons, Paul Jr. of York, Penn., and David of Vineyard Haven, Mass.; two daughters, Joyce Peters of New Berlin, Wis., and Janet Dieter of St. Charles; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
