To the Editor:
I wish to thank all of my supporters during my campaign for regional superintendent of schools.
Whether you walked parades, displayed yard signs, distributed literature, spread the word socially or voted for me, I am indebted to your support. In particular, I had an outpouring from my teaching colleagues, former students, parents and buildings and trades unions.
I assert that there are two things that have fostered my career success over the years: my education and people’s belief in my abilities. Once again, I saw that hard work, knowledge and skills, and inspiring confidence in others created a success. This is exactly what our current youth need: high expectations and the tools to reach them.
I am grateful to everyone who supported me either loudly or quietly in his or her own way. I am excited to enter the regional office soon and serve you all in a new capacity.
