Annual FFA grain show is Saturday at Hiawatha
KIRKLAND – The Hiawatha High School Future Farmers of America will host its 75th annual grain show and auction Saturday at the high school at 410 S. First St. in Kirkland.
The event, the longest continuous running event of its kind in Illinois, will feature displays of the Hiawatha FFA from the past 75 years and recognize the club’s founding members. Student exhibits will be open from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and the auction will begin at 7 p.m. in the gym.
The Hiawatha FFA Alumni Association also will sell pulled pork sandwiches and brat sandwiches from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
