St. John’s offers free Thanksgiving dinner

The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. John (Missouri Synod) will once again provide a free Thanksgiving Day dinner.

For several years, the church has provided this dinner to everyone in the community. The menu includes roast turkey with all the trimmings, desserts, breads and beverages.

Serving will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John’s, 26555 Brickville Road, Sycamore.

 A Thanksgiving service will be offered at St. John at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The community is invited to worship and give thanks for the many blessings.
