First Congregational baking fruitcakes

First Congregational United Church of Christ, 615 N. First St., DeKalb, is once again baking and selling fruitcakes to raise money for local nonprofits.

Small fruitcakes cost $8 and large ones cost $14.

To place an order, call the church office at 815-758-0691.

Fruitcake pick-up for orders already placed is under way. Stop by the church office from 8:30 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
