Federated in Sandwich sets Vesper service

The Chancel Choir singers will fill the sanctuary of the Federated Church of Sandwich with melodies and readings for the Christmas season at its Vesper service at 4 p.m. Dec. 9.

The choir will explore a full range of sounds and styles throughout its concert. Selections include the classic beauty of “Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming” with violin and a toe-tapping “Something to Shout About,” along with Dave Williamson’s arrangement of “I Heard the Bells” and harmonica accompanying the lovely melody of “Silent Night.”

Supporting the choir this season will be local artists Dean Potter, Chris Williams, Cindy Albright, Jim and Pat Yuvan, Brian Miller, Chet Romans on guitar, Jennie Rohr on violin, Cathy Owens on percussion, John Hohenberger on the harmonica and Sean Williams on guitar.
