$20K raised for special education programs

DeKALB – Northern Illinois University, together with Fatty’s Pub and Grille and an independent artist, raised $20,000 for special education programs at DeKalb and Sycamore schools.

Each district will receive $10,000 for special education programs.

For the past four years, NIU coach Dave Doeren and Fatty’s owner Jeff Dobie hosted Huskies Fore Hope – a charity golf outing held in July at the River Heights Golf Course in DeKalb.
