Police probe deadly Granite City shooting

GRANITE CITY – Investigators from several agencies are working together to find out what led to a shooting death in Granite City.

Authorities said a man was found wounded Thursday night in an alley behind a house in the city just northeast of St. Louis. He later died at a hospital.

Investigators haven't released the victim's name.

There's no immediate word on any arrests or charges.
