Neil Hamburger returning to DeKalb

Comedian and Internet sensation Neil Hamburger will return to Otto’s Niteclub & Underground, 118 E. Lincoln Highway in DeKalb, at 9 p.m. Nov. 16. Tickets cost $10 for this 21+ show.

Hamburger, the alter-ego of comedian Gregg Turkington, is best known for his controversial appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and his off-kilter and often offensive act. He has attained household name status as host of the third most popular Internet television show, “Poolside Chats.”

He has released five CDs and two DVDs on the indie stalwart Drag City label, and has toured the world, performing in venues ranging from decrepit small-town pizza parlors to the Olympic Stadium in Sydney, Australia. He most recently toured with Tenacious D.
