Time management presentation offered

The DeKalb County Association of Human Resources Managers will hold its next presentation at 8 a.m. Nov. 13 at Kishwaukee College Conference Center. The topic is personal and time management.

The current business environment demands rapid results. More than ever, “time is money,” and businesses have placed increased pressure on staff to manage their time effectively. The objective of this seminar is to present a systematic plan to maximize productive use of time in a business day. The one-hour presentation will cover:

• What is time management?

• Time as a commodity

• Essential habits

• Spent time matrix

• Procrastination

• Chunk, block and tackle

The topic presenter is Tammy Tiggelaar, a business, marketing management instructor at Kishwaukee College. In addition to her classes, she has conducted several workshops for the Center for Business Development and Continuing Education.

The cost of the presentation, which includes a continental breakfast provided by Kishwaukee College, is $12.
