On Oct. 16, DeKalb County Economic Development Corp. held its 25th Anniversary Annual Dinner and State of the County Celebration at Northern Illinois University’s Duke Ellington Ballroom.

The celebration was attended by more than 350 business and community leaders. DCEDC extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone that contributed to this successful event.

We would like to express our appreciation to Kay Robinson and Greg Millburg who served as co-chairs of the anniversary dinner committee. Their inspirational support empowered staff to enhance the event and its amenities to a level appropriate to such a milestone anniversary. We would like to extend a special thank you to Karen Hoyle who orchestrated the planning, coordination and execution of the evening and to Tana Knetsch for lending her creativity, energy and resolve to make this event more exciting and more memorable. Thank you to DCEDC board members for reaching out to vendors, friends and business contacts in support of this celebration.
