Browns' County Market in Genoa set to close

GENOA – Browns' County Market in Genoa is set to close, but the Sycamore location will remain open, said owner Dan Brown.

Browns' County Market originally started as Browns' Corner Market in 1945 in a small house on State Street where the Sycamore location's parking lot now exists. It expanded in 1958 with the 35,000-square-foot Sycamore store.

It has been a family-owned business for 67 years. Brown said he would release more information about the closure soon.
