Crime Stoppers is seeking information on a burglary at the NextEra Energy Office in Shabbona.
Sometime between the evening of Oct. 25 and the morning of Oct. 26, someone broke into the yard and office and took insulated copper wire, generators, welders, two-way radios and stainless steel shims, according to a news release.
Due to the large size of the items taken, a truck was most likely used in the burglary, police said. DeKalb County Sheriff Roger Scott said several thousand dollars' worth of material was taken.
Those with information about this crime, items taken or people involved are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 85-895-3272 or email email@example.com.
Callers do not have to give their names. Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 and those with information can remain anonymous.
