NIU Annuitants plan trip to Chicago chocolate show
The Northern Illinois University Annuitants are planning a trip to the Chicago Fine Chocolate Show at Navy Pier on Nov. 17.
The show features live pastry demonstrations, seminars by the Fine Chocolate Industry Association, a pairings pavilion, free samples and The Story of Chocolate presented by the National Confectioners Association – where attendees will learn the six steps of the creation of chocolate.
The cost is $59 per person. Deadline for reservations is Nov. 12.
