Letter: No matter outcome, judge candidate feels like winner

To the Editor:

As this election season draws to a close, I wanted to take the opportunity to reflect upon my contact with our citizens throughout the county. Having personally knocked on more than 11,000 doors countywide, I am reminded of the incredible decency of our citizens and how lucky we are to live here in DeKalb County.

I met many of you for the first time, and I had the opportunity to see some of you again at your doors, where we have chatted during past campaigns. I had the opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and teachers, the parents of my classmates, people who knew my parents, and the parents of children I coached in soccer and little league.
