Clinton Rosette holds walk-a-thon

Clinton Rosette Middle School students participated in a walk-a-thon last week during their physical education classes.

The event promoted healthy activity and was a fundraiser for the school. So far, the event brought in close to $2,000. The money will go directly to the teachers for the purchase of additional educational items, and to help pay for field trips.

All students walked, ran or jogged around the track during their physical education class. The goal was to be the class that traveled the farthest. The PE class that traveled the farthest received a Dairy Queen treat.
