Weather Forecast … DeKalb County … Week of October 21: The beginning of the week will be mild with temperatures nearing the mid 70s but, by week’s end, we will see highs only in the mid-40s.

It is definitely fall in the Midwest. It is hard to believe that it also is the end of the first quarter of learning for students in the Sycamore School District.

Our mission states the following: “Empowering all learners to succeed in their world.” To meet this mission, we continue to focus on student achievement and providing unique opportunities for learning for staff and students. In addition to the district’s mission, educational initiatives, both nationally and locally, have focused on ensuring that students are career and/or college ready as they leave high school.
