Four-year-old boy, man found dead in home

YORKVILLE – Police said a 4-year-old boy and a 35-year-old man were found dead in a home in the western Chicago suburb of Yorkville.

The Aurora Beacon-News reported police said Thursday that officers found the man and boy Wednesday during a well-being check. The man was identified as Joseph R. Schmitt. Autopsies are scheduled for today.

Police did not release additional information.
