District 428 preparing contract for land swap
DeKALB – DeKalb School District 428 attorneys are drafting an agreement for the land swap between the district and ShoDeen Construction, Superintendent Jim Briscoe said.
Briscoe is scheduled to update the school board tonight on a deal to exchange land that is used by youth school leagues near Huntley Middle School for land near DeKalb High School that could be used for a future expansion.
The meeting is at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Elementary School, 220 E. Sunset Place.
