Cogs beat Indians in sloppy battle
GENOA – Genoa Kingston’s season finale Friday night was a wet and muddy battle. It seemed whoever won in the trenches would come out with the win.
Fortunately for the Cogs, Indian’s running back John Lesiak left the game in the first quarter with an injured knee and would not return, and the Cogs won 14-0.
“When he (Lesiak) came out, that was a confidence booster for us,” Cogs coach Travis Frederick said.
