DeKalb man charged with having drugs near school

SYCAMORE — Bond was set at $110,000 Friday for a DeKalb man arrested on drug charges.

Linden M. Hope, 25, of the 2300 block of Ruby Lane in DeKalb, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school, unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal trespass to real property.

Hope appeared in court Friday via closed-circuit TV from the DeKalb County Jail. If convicted of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a school, Hope could face up to 15 years in prison.
