Trio facing additional burglary charges

SYCAMORE – Three people who police said were involved in burglaries Monday night appeared in court Wednesday on additional charges.

Bradley J. Stanley, 26, of Bristol; Michael A. Stanley, 27, of Aurora; and Leah R. Behrens, 27, of Montgomery were charged with additional counts of burglary and theft.

Bradley and Michael Stanley also were charged with possession of burglary tools.

The three appeared in court Tuesday on charges of burglarizing an outbuilding on the property of a home in the 10000 block of Duffy Road.

According to court documents, a property owner in the 17000 block of Route 23 reported a chain saw, two weed trimmers and a bag of collectible coins were taken from an outbuilding on his property Monday night.

The items were found in the SUV of Behrens and the Stanleys. A pair of gloves, two flashlights and a screwdriver also were discovered in the vehicle.

Behrens and Bradley Stanley will appear in court again Monday. Michael Stanley will be in court today.
