Pre-K screenings to be held in Indian Creek

Indian Creek School District will conduct screenings for children age birth through 5 that are not currently in kindergarten.

The screening process should take about 45 minutes and parents should expect to complete a questionnaire on their child’s health and social development. In addition to screening pre-academic ability, a vision and hearing screening also will be given for children ages 3 to 5.

Screening dates are:

• Oct. 23, Shabbona Elementary School, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for ages 3 to 5.

• Jan. 22, Waterman Elementary School, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for ages birth to 5. Ages birth to 3 can have morning appointments only.

• April 23, Shabbona Elementary School, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for ages birth to 5. Ages birth to 3 can have morning appointments only.
