Genoa-Kingston Community Unit School District 424 will hold developmental screenings on Oct. 23 and 24 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 33930 N. State Road, Genoa.

The free screening is a quick look at how your child is learning and growing. Different kinds of activities and questions will be used to learn how to best help your child. The areas that will be examined include motor, thinking, language, speech, vision and hearing.

If your child does not attend a local preschool and is between the ages of birth and 5, but not yet attending kindergarten, make an appointment by calling Genoa-Kingston Student Services at 815-784-8391.
