Pink golf outing donates to KishHealth Oncology

KishHealth Foundation recently received a generous gift from the 12th annual Pink Ribbon Golf Outing, an annual breast cancer fundraising event at Indian Oaks County Club, Shabbona.

Money raised from the last several years of this event, totaling more than $20,000, has benefited oncology support services at Valley West and Kishwaukee Community hospitals.

“We appreciate Pink Ribbon Golf Outing’s generous donation which helps us bring education material to the community on self breast exams, mammograms, and breast cancer, and to provide support programs to women experiencing breast cancer,” Deb Bemis, KishHealth Oncology Services director, said in a news release.
