Letter: Voting is a civic duty

Published: Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 5:30 a.m. CDT

To the Editor: A response to the view of Lauren Stott (on page A2 of Thursday’s Daily Chronicle): Even if you can’t make a decision on the presidental election, you should still vote because there are local races and referendums. I think it is everyone’s civic duty to vote. Many men and women have fought and died so we can have the privilege to vote.
