First Congregational seeks books for sale

First Congregational United Church of Christ, 615 N. First St., DeKalb, will hold a used book sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 in Fellowship Hall.

Through the month of October, the church will be accepting book donations for the sale. Books can be deposited in a box located in the narthex.

The sale is open to the community.

Proceeds from the event will help a student the church is sponsoring in Tanzania to afford tuition and housing for the upcoming school year.
