DeKalb woman charged with resisting police

SYCAMORE – Police said a woman whose boyfriend was charged with driving under the influence Saturday interfered with the arrest and attacked officers.

Caitlyn R. Coen, 22, of the 1000 block of Arcadia Drive in DeKalb, appeared in court Tuesday via closed-circuit TV from the DeKalb County Jail. Charged with aggravated battery, resisting a peace officer and battery, Coen faces up to seven years in prison if convicted of the aggravated battery charge.

Coen’s bond was set at $75,000 when she appeared in court Sunday. Monday was a court holiday. According to court documents, Coen struck and sprayed DeKalb police officers with water and bit another officer on the hand.
