Women’s Expo set for Thursday in Sandwich

The Sandwich Area Chamber of Commerce will host its fourth annual “Lights. Camera. Action!” Women’s Expo from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Alessandria’s Restaurant, 2100 Suydam Road in Sandwich.

Admission is $3, but a coupon has been posted on the Chamber’s Facebook page (

The fee includes entrance into the vendor show, appetizer and dessert buffet, door prize drawings and a free “swag bag” for the first 100 attendees. A cash bar will be available during the event.

The expo features a wide assortment of women-centric vendors displaying their products and services that include jewelry, massage, hair salons, health care, candles, fitness and photographers.

Some of the vendors will be conducting special demonstrations during the event including free mini-acupuncture treatments from Energetic Health Acupuncture and BMI screenings from Fox Valley YMCA. Featured demonstrations for the expo will be Zumba fitness from Sandwich Park District and Reckless Crossfit.
