Test drives earn donations for school

Brian Bemis World Auto will join parents and teachers at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Sycamore for a fundraiser from noon to 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

During the school’s Fall Festival, Chrysler will donate $10 to the school every time a visitor to the festival takes a test drive in the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country. Any licensed driver age 18 or older can drive and earn a donation for St. Mary’s Catholic School. There is no limit to the number of drives or Chrysler’s contribution. Brian Bemis World Auto will provide minivans and insurance for the event, and volunteers from the dealership will be on hand to help out with the fundraising test drives.

In 1993, Chrysler introduced Drive for the Kids and became the first automotive manufacturer to reach out in direct support of local schools. Since then Chrysler has contributed more than $4 million to schools in communities where Chrysler and its dealers do business.
