Information sought about school vandalism

Crime Stoppers seeks information on vandalism that occurred at the former Cortland Elementary School.

Sometime between Sept. 23 and Sept. 26, unknown people entered the building and vandalized the interior, using spray paint, breaking windows and putting holes in the walls.

Those with information about this crime, damage done or people involved are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 815-895-3272 or email crimestoppers@dekalbcounty.org.

Callers do not have to give their names. Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 and those with information can remain anonymous.
