County Alzheimer’s unit to host fundraiser

DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center’s Special Care Unit for people with Alzheimer’s Disease is hosting a raffle for its annual fundraiser. All participants have an opportunity to win a number of special prizes.

The money raised helps to continue special programs for residents and their families.

Prizes include a one-of-a-kind maple and walnut pie safe cupboard with punched tin inserts, designed and made by Randy Moseley, a talented woodworker and volunteer. Other prizes include a Coach purse, a flat screen TV, and more.
