G-K graduate nets weekly NAC men’s soccer award

Aurora University junior Anthony Parra has been named the Northern Athletics Conference Men’s Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week.

Parra, a Genoa-Kingston graduate, carried the Spartans (6-3-1, 3-1-1 NAC) to a 2-0 week with five goals, which included game-winners in both victories against Rockford and Concordia Wisconsin.

In the 3-2 double-overtime win against Concordia Wisconsin, Parra scored a hat trick to provide the only AU offense of the day.
