Illinois man gets 2 years for killing Chihuahua
GENEVA – A suburban Chicago man who killed his roommate’s Chihuahua during an argument is going to prison for two years.
Twenty-year-old Oscar Guerrero of Elgin agreed Wednesday to plead guilty to aggravated cruelty to animals in a deal with Kane County prosecutors. In exchange, he’ll get the two-year prison term.
Associate Judge James Hallock accepted the plea.
