The seeding and schedules for Class 2A and 3A boys soccer have been released by the IHSA.
Kaneland was awarded the No. 1 seed in the Burlington Central Regional and will play the winner of the Sycamore (No. 5 seed) - Aurora Illinois Math and Science Academy (No. 4) on October 17 at 5 p.m. at Burlington Central.
The Spartans' play-in game will be on October 12th at Aurora Illinois Math and Science Academy.
Burlington Central and Hampshire are the No. 2 and 3 seeds in the regional. The regional championship game will be held at 11 a.m. on October 20.
In 3A, DeKalb is the No. 3 seed in its own regional. They will face Algonquin (Jacobs) at home on Oct. 16 at 6:30 p.m. while No. 1 Huntley and No. 4 Crystal Lake South play at 4:30 p.m.
The winners will meet in the regional championship on Saturday, October 20 at 11 a.m.
It's a tough regional for the Barbs, who are undefeated in the Northern Illinois Big 12 East and have only one loss on the season.
