2nd man sentenced in dice-game robbery
SYCAMORE – One of the men charged in a September 2011 robbery after a dice game in DeKalb was sentenced to prison Thursday.
During a hearing at the DeKalb County Courthouse, Pierre Black, 21, of the 8100 block of South Peoria in Chicago, pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery. He also admitted to violating court supervision for a charge of retail theft.
On Sept. 27, 2011, a man told police he was playing dice with several people in an apartment in the 400 block of Russell Road in DeKalb. After he won money, the man said three of the people who lost followed him into the hallway.
