Genoa woman injured in rollover crash
GENOA – A Genoa woman was removed from her vehicle and flown to a Rockford hospital after a one-car rollover crash shortly before midnight Tuesday.
Jami L. Wright, 23, of the 300 block of West Hill Street, was headed west on Derbyline Road in Genoa just west of Hayes Road when she fell asleep while driving home from work, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
Her vehicle went into the north ditch, through a fence and into a bean field.
