Tuesday police reports

Editor’s note: Information in Police Briefs is obtained from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office and city police departments. Individuals listed in Police Briefs who have been charged with a crime have not been proven guilty in court.

DeKalb city

Kylee B. Nilsson, 19, of the 100 block of Lathrop Street in Forest Park, was charged Monday, Sept. 24, with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Yamone R. Brown-Johnson, 21, of the 800 block of Kimberly Drive in DeKalb, was charged Monday, Sept. 24, with disorderly conduct.

Shawnteese Esther, 20, of the 800 block of Kimberly Drive in DeKalb, was charged Monday, Sept. 24, with attempted obstructing justice and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Antroine E. Macon-Henderson, 18, of the 600 block of East 38th Place in Chicago, was charged Monday, Sept. 24, with consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Christopher Sims, 20, of the 5700 block of Wentworth Avenue in Chicago, was charged Monday, Sept. 24, with consumption of alcohol by a minor and disorderly conduct.

DeKalb County

Leon F. Stone, 29, of Charles County, Md., was arrested Monday, Sept. 24, on failure-to-appear warrants for a driving with a suspended license charge and a child support case, and warrants for theft of less than $1,000, illegal distribution of drugs and violation of probation for distribution of drugs.

Shyanna M. Simpson, 19, of the 100 block of West Chestnut Street in Cortland, was charged Tuesday, Sept. 25, with driving under the influence and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Terry Garrett, 47, of the 400 block of Lynn Avenue in Sycamore, was charged Tuesday, Sept. 25, with driving under the influence and improper lane use.

Northern Illinois University

Jonathan J. Behrens, 18, of Palatine, was charged Sunday, Sept. 23, with aggravated battery, consumption of alcohol by a minor and resisting a peace officer.

Michael J. McDowell Jr., 22, of South Holland, was charged Sunday, Sept. 23, with illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Scott R. Newton, 23, of Wayne, was charged Sunday, Sept. 23, with driving under the influence of alcohol and disobeying a traffic control device.
