Kish Symphony presents two concerts in October
Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra begins its 36th concert season with two concerts in October.
The KSO’s fall concert, “French Impressions Redux” is Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Boutell Memorial Concert Hall in the Music Building of Northern Illinois University, DeKalb.
The KSO will celebrate two of the great composers of French Impressionist music, performing the “Mother Goose Suite” and “Pavane for a Dead Princess,” by Maurice Ravel, and “Danses for Harp and Strings” and “La Mer,” by Claude Debussy.
