CHICAGO – In Week 2, St. Louis Rams receiver Danny Amendola caught 12 passes in the first half and threatened to break Brandon Marshall’s NFL record of 21 receptions in a game.

On Sunday, Amendola managed to catch only one pass in the first half against the Bears.

By the end of the Bears’ 23-6 win against the Rams, Amendola posted respectable numbers with five catches for 66 yards. But he was a nonfactor for much of the game while the score was close, as he struggled to find open space against the physical play of the Bears’ secondary.
