DeKalb city

Carlos Alfaro, 21, of the 100 block of Meadow Lane in Carol Stream, was charged Sunday, Sept. 16, with driving under the influence, driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol content greater than the legal limit, squealing tires, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving while license suspended.

David W. Sifft, 59, of the 700 block of Wright Court in Sandwich, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 18, on a warrant for unlawful possession of ammunition.

Venice A. Arevalo, 18, of the 2200 block of Skokie Drive in Rockford, was charged Wednesday, Sept. 19, with battery and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Northern Illinois University

Lauren E. Haag, 18, of Palatine, was charged Tuesday, Sept. 18, with filing a false police report and consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Brendan D. Butler, 18, of Chillicothe, was charged Tuesday, Sept. 18, with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sycamore

Alexander P. Dominguez, 26, of Sycamore, was arrested Friday, Sept. 14, on a failure-to-appear warrant for harassment.

Carrie R. Dominguez, 27, of Sycamore, was arrested Friday, Sept. 14, on a warrant for obstructing justice.
