DAAHA sets fall gallery hours

Published: Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 5:30 a.m. CDT

The DeKalb Area Agricultural Heritage Association Inc. has reopened for the fall.

Gallery hours are 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays and Sundays or by appointment through Memorial Day (May 29, 2013).

Exhibits in the Nehring Gallery, 111 S. Second St., Suite 204, DeKalb, explore the 100th anniversary of the DeKalb Agricultural Association, early hand tools and farm toys. Hand farm tools from the collection of Denny Rehn show the variety needed on the farm. Toy tractors from the collection of Vernon Johnson illustrate play and training for future farmers.

The “DeKalb Ag: 100 Years of Progress” exhibit continues to celebrate the accomplishments of the DeKalb Agricultural Association since its start in 1912.
