DeKALB – A DeKalb man is being held on a $5,000 bond after police said he stabbed someone in the arm after a dispute.

Michael A. Clark, 21, of the 100 block of East Roosevelt Street in DeKalb, was charged Monday with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery in a public way for an incident that occurred in the 100 block of North Second Street.

According to a DeKalb police report, Clark and the victim appeared to know one another and had a prior dispute that may have led to the incident. DeKalb police Lt. Jason Leverton said the victim received a small cut to the arm and declined medical attention.
