Cortland church plans 150th celebration

The horse-riding circuit preacher is coming to Cortland. The public is invited to join members of Cortland United Methodist Church in celebrating 150 years of ministry.

Worship begins at 10 a.m. Sept. 23 and will be followed by a pot luck lunch. Meat and drinks will be provided.

Games for the young and a 1860s hymn sing will follow. Stay for the day or stop by when you can. Dress in period clothes is welcomed.
