Hannah Brennan, daughter of Mary K. and Bruce Brennan, has been awarded the C. Arthur and Eleanor Garm Hemminger Scholarship from the College of Media at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Brennan is a recent graduate of DeKalb High School studying media and cinema studies at Illinois.

Arthur Hemminger and Eleanor Garm Hemminger were both Illinois graduates – 1930 and 1939 respectively. This scholarship endowment was established through Eleanor’s estate and is presented to deserving undergraduate media students.
