DeKalb man charged with home invasion
SYCAMORE – A DeKalb man charged with breaking into an ex-girlfriend’s home and attacking another man had bond set at $150,000 Friday.
Jose Salinas, 21, of the 200 block of Gurler Street in DeKalb, is charged with home invasion, criminal trespass to residence and two counts of battery. If convicted of the home invasion charge, Salinas faces up to 30 years in prison.
Salinas appeared during a court hearing Friday via closed-circuit TV from the DeKalb County Jail.
